Gaming 101 for Parents and Grandparents – June 15, 2021

Lost Tribe partnered with the Jewish Grandparents Network on a Gaming 101 webinar in June of 2021.  We know that the generation of kids and teens in 2021 is very invested in the digital world – for communication, social media, gaming, etc.  What if there was a way for you to learn a bit more about it?  There may even be an opportunity for parents and grandparents to actually connect with their kids and grandkids through gaming.

During this webinar, we learned about online gaming: how it works, why it is so popular, and how participants find meaning and connections in gaming and among the gaming community.  Participants were able to expand your relationships with kids and teens through the use of the same language, being able to communicate with each other, bridging the gaps between the generations, and so much more.

Lost Tribe was excited to have as the presenter, Todd Harris, an entrepreneur who has been leading video game and esports businesses for 15 years.  Todd is the Co-Founder of Hi-Res Studios, one of the largest video game studios in the Southeast and Founder and CEO of Skillshot Media, a leading east-coast esports infrastructure and production company.  Todd is also the chair of the North American Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF).
